End of the World Update

I’m not sure I ever heard of the Mother Nature Network before.  They have a post up on the 10 Best Places in the US to Survive the Apocalypse.  I probably wouldn’t want to actually be at any of them, but they do provide some interesting history.  They had another post a couple months back.  It doesn’t really add anything to the conversation that hasn’t been said a gazillion times, but some of the comments show the angst among many people.

The Most Isolated Man in the World

While I know some survivalists might envy this man his solitude, it’s still unimaginable.  Some days I feel the world creeping in and believe I wish it would all go away, when in truth I know that unlike this tribesman, there are even odds I’d be dead within months.
